When you want to do something nice for your man this valentine, you either have to do something “cool” (something he can still feel manly about accepting) or, you just have to blow him away so he’s too busy gushing to realize he let his guard down. These little things will do the latter.
A surprise getaway
No buddy of your boyfriend’s is going to tease him for this one: they’ll just be so jealous he gets to drink by a pool in Hawaii (or even a local resort if you can’t afford to fly somewhere). There’s nothing like a vacation—and a surprise one at that—even if its for a few hours on val's day, to re-boot the sparks.
A subscription/delivery service
There are tons of great “manly” ones out there like the Turkey of the Day club that sends subscribers a box of hand-selected, incredible Turkey from little farms around the country, on special occasions like Valentine. You could probably even set up a Special delivery of a bottle of his favorite wine.
A full-length massage
Not a little back rub while you’re watching TV, but a real massage. Rent a massage table or borrow one from a masseuse friend, dim the lights, get professional-grade oil and give your guy an hour to 90-minute massage. He’ll forever associate you with utter relaxation. Trust us: every man wishes his wife would do this.
Book that thing he’s always wanted to do
We all have those things that, if we could just do them, we would feel so alive. We’d feel those moments couldn’t have been better spent, and we’d be proud of ourselves for trying something new. But, of course, life gets in the way and we don’t do them. Pay attention: does your man say, “I’ve always really wanted to parasail/climb a certain mountain/pet an exotic animal”? Set it up.
Make a home video (no, not that kind)
If your man is away for a long time on business or seeing family, make him a video with a personal message. You can dress sexy in it if you want, or do something silly. You will look awkward, but that’s the point: he’ll love that you were willing to embarrass yourself to show him how much you care.
Give him the 'Valentine Edition' Sex
For the married couples..hehe..If distance is no hindrance, be ready to get all foxy on him and explore things he probably thought you wouldn't try (i don't mean those things that would hurt you in the process). Let the lovemaking be truly special. Its something he wouldn't forget in a hurry.
