The blogger, who gained popularity after sharing makeup tutorials on YouTube, garners 20.5 million followers on the social platform.
Thanks to her social presence, the Iraqi American makeup artist now sells several beauty products under her brand Huda Beauty.
Kattan came in at number one as the world’s highest paid influencer on Instagram, according to UK-based Hopper, which compiled the ‘rich list’, based on its own data and public information.
American singer Selena Gomez, who has 122 million followers and charges $550,000 per post, came in at number one on the list.
Reality television star Kim Kardashian, who has 100 million followers, charges $500,000 per post. She came in at number two, followed by professional football player Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 104 million followers and charges $400,000 per post.
Hopper HQ said Instagram is not just a social media platform to share photos and communicate with friends, but also a serious money-making tool for celebrities, influencers and brands.
