We are sometimes confronted with stray dogs. Most of the time they are all bark and no bite. Just remaining calm, avoiding eye contact, and continuing on your way is all that is needed to do sometimes. However, if they start charging, pretending to pick up a rock from the ground and feigning throwing it at them usually spooks them enough to leave you alone. If that doesn't work, actual rocks can be used. However, there are times when a dog isn’t deterred by either the pretend or real variety, and lunges to bite. What do you do? Run and get chased by the ferrocious animal?
If you ever encounter a hostile pooch that’s out for blood, here’s how to walk away with your jugular intact. Study the above photo for your options.
