CBN Attacks “Emefiele Must Go” Gang With 16 “Emefiele Must Stay” Tweets

The Central Bank on Saturday, through its twitter handle, released a series of tweets directed at critics calling for the removal of the CBN Governor. In an apparent acknowledgement of the growing strength of the movement determined to see him removed from the helm of the apex bank, Mr Emefiele fought back issuing out statements that appears to suggest his policies have been working.He also did not waste anytime attacking critics whom he often likes to refer to as “armchair” 

The attacks which he hash tagged #WhyEmefieleMustStay suggest the CBN is either leading the campaign to or is behind the campaign defending CBN Governor. The question now is, are state funds now been used to defend a public office holder?
