There are 10 players of Nigeria descent in the books of English Premier League club Arsenal after the transfer window closed for business on Tuesday night. They include Super Eagles attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi, England youthteamers Tolaji Bola, Xavier Amaechi, Arthur Okonkwo, Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole, Joshua Dawodu, James Olayinka, Folarin Balogun and Nathan Tella. Among the ten, only Iwobi and Bola are listed by the Gunners in their updated Champions League roster to UEFA, ahead of their round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich later this month.
Both players are in the B List having now been registered at the club for two years. Chuba Akpom sealed a loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion until June 30 and has not been registered by Arsenal.
